Grief and the Silver Lining…

Grandma, Mom, Aunt Tracie.

This picture is so close to my heart…
My Grandfather passed away this past Thanksgiving. Christmas was bittersweet and I do miss him so.
But my Grandmother and her daughters (my aunt and mom in photo.) miss him more.
I try to look on the bright side of life. Not an easy fact to do seeing as I’m a natural pessimist. But here are some bright side of things in this season of grief.
He’s no longer in pain.
He’s with Jesus.
One day we will be reunited.
A new season of life has begun in our family. A time of change.
I can now properly write grief…. okay I know that’s a bit too soon to say and might even seem callous! But in two of my WIPs my characters are grieving and grieving HARD.
Throughout the hardest days I had the thought 💭: “oh I am writing this correctly” 😅. Silver lining people. Silver lining.
I hope you find your silver lining in your tribulation.
You’ve got this and Gods got you.
