Hola! *waves* come come, sit down and get yourself a cuppa.
So our family has outside cats. A pride of them, actually . Usually our matriarch cat will have 1 litter a year and in spring. But this year she had a surprise fall litter! 😯
Three of them are tabbies with no tails—Kit-Kat is from a line of bobtails— and the one black kitten has a tail <3 . Mom votes we keep that one.
Oh! Here are pics of our other three cats. They are actually from Kit-Kat’s spring litter of this year! The fluffiest one on the railing is Berry and the other two are Iris and Sphinx. Berry and Sphinx are the boys and Iris the girl. They are the friendliest cats we’ve had in a good long while . . . I think it’s because I viewed them as perennial plants. You have to water them a LOT in the first year if you want to reap the rewards for the rest of their lives. Water=attention.
Moving on from catville. I got my new bed!! I ordered a new duvet cover to spruce up my room as well and gahhhh I love it so much.
Last week my mom and I had to play Tetris around the house in order to fit my old twin bed into the office! Without it being cluttered . . . It was a feet. My old bed is fine for the occasional child guest. But not for a prolonged stay for an adult. No no no. We have our Library/guest room for that. It’s more for my nephew to sleep in when he visits with his parents. (When it’s just him he’ll get the option of the big bed or the twin, lol.)
My new bed is a Dreamcloud . I got the full bed and just the basic bed. It’s so comfy!!! It takes about 72 hours for it to fully expand—comes in the mail wrapped up like a giant tube—but you sleep on it right away if you’d like. I waited a full 24 hours to sleep on it. It gets softer the first week and it’s really nice not to wake up with extreme back pain. —don’t get me wrong it’s not all gone cause, yeah. Fibromyalgia.—
Kings Daughter Writing Camp has been a blast so far! —Alternative to NaNoWriMo, National November Writing Month— the regular goal for this is 50k words but in our camp you can set whatever goal you’d like! I set a chapter goal for Starry Subject. 19 chapters for me to catch up to my first draft. —I’m writing draft 2— and I’ve already completed 2 chapters!
*looks above* ahh here are my bullet journal hacks for keeping track of my words, chapters, and comments for NaNo/Camp! I found a typewriter stamp at JoAnees one week in Summer when our good friend the Havens were down for a visit. I knew immediately that it was worth the $7. I love it and I love using it for keeping track of word counts!
So my goal is basically to try to get a chapter done a day. I know that I’ll have about 8 days of the month I can’t write on so this way I’ll be able to meet my goal.
Are you doing NaNoWriMo or a Christian substitute like me? I’d love to hear all about it.
‘Till next we meet.
