Changing things is okay.

Me with most creative ventures.

I struggle with change and perfectionism. I want everything to be perfect and I don’t like to change it once it’s done . . . I feel almost ashamed when I have to fix something because to me it feels like a giant failure I have to fix/admit I didn’t do right the first time.

Usually I can “hide” these changes by never showing the first draft of a book to anyone and not showing my first rough rough sketches, etc.

But sometimes I make a public statement or post a picture where I look back on it and go “oh crap” there’s something to fix. Instead of going and exchanging a picture for the newest form, I thought I’d make an entire post about this problem instead!

I realized that Aidan’s aesthetic/mood board was missing . . . Well a lot! So I went into Canva and edited and added much.

I was going to go and replace the old version over on my last post but I felt like this would be better instead.

Showing that we are human and our “mistakes” showing our journey is a lot more inspiring and human than covering it all up and pretending like we are perfect.

It’s a lot more organic, don’t you think?

Anyways: I’m a lot happier with the new version of Aidan’s board! I hope you all like it too.

‘Till next we meet.
