Choirs, Christmas shopping, and writing~

Hello my Scribblings! —I don’t know if we are keeping this moniker but we are running with it!— *drops into a hammock with a s’more* Last week was ultra busy!
Well, busy for me! :D
I had not one but two weekdays were I was out of the house! *shocked gasp* yes yes. I went into the world and survived. Hold your applause.

My mom and I like to get our Christmas shopping done by Thanksgiving—*laughs manically* (not that we usually meet that “deadline”) so we were Christmas shopping after our Zone Therapy appointment on Wednesday. We were in Five-Below for nearly 2 hours.
2. Hours.
It was fun and we got SO much stuff checked off our lists for peoples stockings! But we were tired puppies.
Went over to Ollies—a discount store—to look for a new Christmas tree (ours met a sad fate with a mouse.) and some more stocking stuffers as their book selection is *chiefs kiss*. $2.99-$3.99 for most books!!

We ended up FaceTiming my sissy in law and book shopped with her for a while! That was super fun and it felt sooooo good to “shop” with her for the first time in years. (She and my brother’s family live about and hour and a half away from us)
By the end of the visit we had a mountain of books and a new rug for our living room.
Mom and I decided that we were too tired and that we’d finish all we wanted to do that day on Friday.

Fast forward to Friday and we had another outing day but this time my dad chauffeured us, lol. It was busy and tiring but worth it!

On the writing front: I wrote 17k words this past week. :o . I redid the math like 6 times before I fully believed that number tbh.
I was super proud of myself as on Saturday I was super tired, started my monthly, and had a migraine . -_- . But I finished not one but TWO chapters in Starry Subject!!

Now by no means am I saying that this should be an average writing day. No no no. But for the challenge I’ve set for this ‘NaNoWriMo’/KDWC? I’m good with it.
I’ve got 11 chapters to go and sooooo excited to get to totally new words in this draft.

This Sunday we—the choir at church—performed! It was decent, lol :D . I think we messed up a bit but it wasn’t noticeable to anyone but the choir XD . Angelyn, our conductor/maesro, didn’t react when the accompaniment soundtrack glitched. She simply continued and we finished with the soundtrack no longer glitching. We sang “What a friend we have in Jesus.”

Near accurate representation of our maestro this Sunday lol.

Well that’s enough rambling from me! Hope all of you have had a good week! One more week until Thanksgiving!! Our new Christmas tree should be here by Friday so we might end up setting up the tree a few days earlier than usual . . . Hmmm.

Anyways, Toodlydoo!
