Alrighty! Gather around, I have a tale or two of terror for ya! *smiles cheekily and whispers* it’s not that bad, I’m just dramatic like that.

Anyways~ For our first tale, I bring you to last Monday where in I was simply taking four of my Kratom pills(helps me with brain fog and focus) only to, not ten minutes later, have a strange pressure in my nose and throat.
I remember looking into the bathroom mirror all confused and I suddenly snorted. Dust poured out of my nose.
I opened my mouth and a thick layer of kratom powder came up my throat. I could barely breath. My sinuses burned. I needed water. Stumbling out of the bathroom into the living room I cried, I shouted, I pled for water. My mother later informed me that all she heard was a repeated croak of “Wa-R” . In hindsight it’s quite funny. :D (If you don’t laugh, you cry right?”

Que the next half hour using a Nettie pot to rinse out my poor sinuses and drinking so much water I felt bloated. A few hours later all I was left with was a sore throat and a slight burning in my throat. The moral of this story? Make sure to take lots of water with your pills.
Please. I don’t recommend being a dragon with your supplements/herbs.
It’s not the vibe.

A second tale of horror! (Not really)
It was Tuesday~ the day after the Kratom dragon impersonation. All was well, ish, until nigh lunchtime. My stomach started to ache and cramp, but I pushed past it and shrugged it off. Making my lunch I couldn’t stand up straight due to the pain. If I did my breathing would worsen.
Finally getting it through my thick skull that something was amiss, I decided to go lay down. But the pain got worse and worse. My chest tightened considerably and I could barely breathe. My mother had been on the phone with a friend of ours and I sheepishly walked in, hunchbacked, and breathily whispered that I needed help.

Thankfully she leapt to my aid and the friend started to pray. I was nauseated and struggled with my breathing. For a while my mom rubbed my back and then helped me to lay on my bed. We used some chilax hemp cream (Highly recommend it’s on the trimhealthymama website) on my stomach and chest and that helped a bit. My mom and I have been wanting to get me to one of our doctors(chiropractor who has a unique testing called Vega testing) to do a health check due to some persistent symptoms. But we’ve been putting it off for a bit due to personal reasons.
To say my mom hurried to see if they could get me in that day to test me was an understatement. I felt like an overdramatic loon as my mom bundled me to the car and we made the near hour drive.
I was feeling better, as I was able to breathe, but not great.

It’s a good thing we went since we found out that my liver was struggling and I was dehydrated!! My doctor also ran a test for the pesky migraines I’ve been having and they are due to allergies. So the moral of this story, my friends, is if you think something is wrong and feel the urge to get it checked out, please do. Fight for your health.
It’s worth it.
Don’t be like me and suffer :) .

Well that’s it from me today. I’ve got a lot of writing to do this week for my King’s Daughter’s Writing Camp goal!
What’s a horror story you’ve experienced? I have quite a few under my belt—that’s not a brag worthy thing, right?—and would love to hear yours and how you avoid them now!

‘Till next we meet.
